Although summer break is just beginning, it will pass quickly.  With that in mind, here are some soon-to-be-upon-us events to remember:

The Brier PTA will welcome new kindergarten families with coffee and treats.

 Sea Scare!


You won't want to miss this annual, local community event!  Fun for the entire family!
Volunteers welcome.!  Join other Brier students and families at the annual Brier SeaScare Parade which will start at 228th and Brier Road, and continue south through Brier.  The Brier PTA will sell popcorn and cotton candy at this event.  We need volunteers  earlier in the day to pop corn and make cotton candy.  Contact us here to volunteer.

6:30 pm - 8:30 pm Food Drive - Benefitting Concern for Neighbors Food Bank.  Look for the barrel near Jason's Java.
7:00 pm The Brier Realty Torchlight Parade.The parade begins just north of the library (at 232nd) and moves south down Brier Road, ending just past Brier Realty (at 238th).
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm The Brier Realty Kids Carnival.  Lots of games and fun for the kids in the Brier Realty parking area.
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm Book Sale sponsored by Friends of the Brier Library, held next to Brier Grocery.
   
Following the parade there will be musical entertainment featuring the KD and District Pipe Band, and others.

 8:30 pm Pie-eating contest - This year's flavor--chocolate cream.
9:15 pm The The Outdoor Cinema.  Bring your lawn chairs to the Brier Pizza and Pasta parking lot.  Feature: The 3 Worlds of Gulliver.
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm Book Sale sponsored by Friends of the Brier Library, held next to Brier Grocery.

 Brier Elementary Grounds Cleanup

Volunteers needed to help get the school ready for Fall.  Join us as we weed, trim, and plant new flowers.  Help for an hour, or stay for the day.  Contact us here to volunteer.

Join us in the Brier Elementary library to catch up with old friends and make new friends.
